What
We Do.

My Runway Group is a cultural organisation dedicated to empowering emerging creatives and Black-owned businesses by creating transformative opportunities across Europe and Africa. Our work spans multiple industries, always rooted in inclusivity, innovation, and impact.

Emerging Creatives Initiatives

We’ve delivered over 100 creative programmes across the UK and Africa, directly impacting more than 15,000 emerging creatives through showcases, workshops and employability support. Our initiatives connect underrepresented talent to senior professionals and real career pathways through curated access to grants, industry insights, and live opportunities. In partnership with leading institutions like Tate, Saatchi Gallery, and the V&A, we create spaces where emerging creatives can learn, grow, and launch. Every session is designed to bridge the gap between raw potential and real-world impact.

Black Business Initiatives

We champion Black-led businesses by turning visibility into value. Through over 15 enterprise initiatives, we’ve supported 2,500+ founders with access to funding, retail spaces, market readiness, and global brand collaborations. We made history by launching the first Black-owned concept store in London’s West End, partnering with Shopify, Vista, Shaftesbury, and the Mayor of London to bring Black brands to high streets across multiple UK cities. Our programmes such as Black In Carnaby, Run Gala and The Colour Circle connects African and diaspora-led businesses to digital marketplaces like Anthropologie and Sephora UK whilst creating tangible pathways for long-term commercial succes

African Initiatives

Rooted in our British-Ghanaian founder, Kojo Marfo’s lived experience, our Africa-focused work is driven by the belief that the continent’s creative and entrepreneurial power is a global force. We serve as a conduit connecting African talent and businesses to international opportunities while amplifying the continent’s soft power on the world stage. Our on-the-ground programmes nurture local ecosystems and bridge them with global platforms. We worked with organisations and state agencies including the British Council, British High Commission and Cannes Lions providing strategic consultation, advisory, and programme delivery to support and scale trade and creative economies across Africa
