African
Initiatives.

Our organisation is a mixture of like minded creatives and entrepreneurs with one defined goal - to give opportunities to underrepresented communities. This year, we celebrate 10 years of My Runway Group and working with over 15,000 emerging creatives and 500 black businesses.
afriCANNES
This is our bold initiative created to amplify African and diaspora voices at the global creative stage. In 2024, while attending Cannes, our founder, Kojo Marfo was struck by the lack of African presence, no events, no sessions, no representation. In response, we launched afriCANNES, an all inclusive programme designed to change that narrative. We provide access and visibility for African creatives through curated showcases and intentional networking spaces. afriCANNES encourages first-time participation, champions creative submissions, which ensures that African and diaspora stories are seen, heard, and celebrated where they matter most

Home & Away
Our latest cultural exchange series designed to connect global creatives with the African creative economy. The programme offers meaningful artistic dialogue, opens up new audiences, and provides access to global opportunities. In 2025, we’ll launch the first edition in partnership with Saatchi Gallery, featuring a powerful photographic exchange between Ghanaian photographer Charles Lawson and British photographer Ron Timehin. This series will expand across various creative disciplines bridging Europe and the continent whilst building visibility, and opening doors to new markets for artists at home and abroad.
Dreaming In Colour
Our flagship African art programme that empowers African artists to participate in leading global art fairs across Europe. Through My Runway Group, we provide first-time international exposure, networking, and visibility for emerging talent. Our inaugural edition took place in partnership with 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair at Somerset House, London, featuring five Ghanaian artists and creative producers. In September 2025, we’ll return for our sophomore edition at Creative Skills Week in Prague, spotlighting a new cohort of five African artists and curators ready to make their mark on the global stage.

Creatives Beyond borders
We believe creatives shouldn’t be limited by the colour of their passports, visa issues or race. We're passionate about fostering cultural exchange and providing opportunities for emerging creatives through initiatives like Creatives Beyond Borders. This program connects creatives from the UK and Africa, offering them new opportunities and audience for growth and exposure. Through masterclasses, panel discussions, workshops, and showcases in key venues, we aim to facilitate collaboration, empower talent, and expand the reach of emerging creatives on a global scale. By bridging the gap between continents, Creatives Beyond Borders opens doors to a new world of possibilities inspired by creativity and diversity.
