Creators hailing from around the world have participated in the program, including musicians, beauty entrepreneurs, comedians, activists, poets, gaming creators, personal trainers, teachers, parents, photographers, and more.

Applications are currently opened for the next #YouTubeBlack Voices Class. All eligible candidates are encouraged to be a part of our next class of #YouTubeBlack Voices grantees. This is a great opportunity to further build their voice on YouTube and make an impact.

You’re probably wondering more about the application process. Here are the details:

  • Applications open on June 14 and close on July 10th.
  • To be eligible, you must be a Black-identifying creator, member of the YouTube Partner Program, and located in any of our eligible markets (U.S. Brazil, U.K., Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, and Canada)
  • The Black Voices Fund site is your go-to for all information and updates you might need throughout this process.

Creators who are selected to be part of the cohort will receive: 

  • One year of Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) support
  • One-time direct seed funding to create content throughout 2023
  • Workshops and masterclasses to cultivate new skills and expand their networks
  • Access to exclusive social and community programs
  • Opportunity to be featured across YouTube marketing and brand campaigns
