Key Responsibilities & Skills:

 PR 

  • You will have experience and proven success at delivering quality, on-message media coverage to incredible and high profile outlets, building close relationships with media and selling story concepts to UK press. 
  • You will be a creative thinker, able to come up and put forward bespoke, relevant and engaging feature and story ideas to top tier media, from national newspapers and lifestyle/entertainment magazines to radio/TV, which connect with current trends and the news agenda.
  •  Be nimble and able to work on a number of media campaigns at any one time, ensuring each is delivered to a high standard
  • Preparing good quality and creatively written materials such as press releases and media plans.
  • Culturally curious and connected by nature, you will feed into new business and activation ideas across arts, film, festivals, photography and hospitality to client proposals and new business opportunities. 
  • Organising and attending media events and regional UK/international press trips as required.

 

Content

  • You will have knowledge and experience in working with videographers to create engaging social-first content. You will have good knowledge of the different formats and deliverables for film and photography campaigns 
  •  You will have experience of working with people of influence on content collaborations 
  •  Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr, Tik Tok etc.) and how each platform should be used for different scenarios. 
  •  You will liaise with the Margaret influencer network sharing news of our clients and working with them on collaboration ideas. Feeding in new ideas for people of influence to add to our network

Client and project management 

  • You will have experience in being the day to day contact for clients, producing high-quality client emails and account management materials such as focuses of the week and end of week reports, evaluation reports 
  •  Attending and playing a key role at client meetings, building friendly and pro-active working relationships with junior client team members 
  •  Contributing to and creating excellent, visual led presentations, reports and proposals for clients 
  •  Organising and managing relevant suppliers including photographers, illustrators, design and artwork suppliers and event staff (including drafting briefs). 
  • You will be a Margaret ambassador, communicating the agency’s core values at all times
