My Runway Show started in Coventry in March 2013 as a creative production that provides emerging creatives with the platform needed to launch their careers in the creative industry. Our oldest and most influential community project has helped discover and launch the careers of over 400 models, 150 designers, multiple choreographers, creative directors, visual artists and over 100 businesses. Our annual show has attracted over 5,000 people to venues such as the Indigo o2 and Copper Box Arena to showcase youth cultural excellence at its finest.
We use this opportunity to partner with other charity organisations that are helping make our community a safer place. Since 2013 we have been working with PAPYRUS (Preventing Youth Suicide), EMBRACE (Supporting Vulnerable Women and Young Adults in Midlands), UNIVERSAL SMILES (Preventing Knife Crime in The Youth Community) and Keep A Child Alive founded by singer Alicia Keys.
