MRG x PAPYRUS 2017
We invited the Director of PAPYRUS UK, Ged Flyn to launch their new campaign at our event which happened to be on World Suicide Prevention Day. Save the Class of 2018 will raise awareness and offer help concerning the 200 school children who are lost to suicide every year.
Leadership by example. a time to share year 2016
It's that time of the year again and we are privileged to support the less fortunate in our community. Our charity group will be donating clothing and food items as well as spending quality time with the homeless people at St Mungo's shelter. This will be sourced by the generous young people across the country and is proudly supported by Think Big 02. Our vision is to ignite the spirit of giving in the youth of our generation and to create a ripple effect nationwide.
PAPYRUS - Official Charity Partner for My Runway 2016
Youth Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under 35. Our ethos as a group is to inspire young people. After losing a previous photographer to youth suicide. We decided to collaborate with PAPYRUS to raise awareness not just about the rate of deaths but rather the help available to young people dealing with depression and mental health issues either directly or indirectly. MY RUNWAY + ST MUNGO'S SHELTER
This festive season, the charity arm of My Runway Group, in collaboration with St Mungo's, a British organisation that helps people recover from the issues that create homelessness presents ' a Time To Share'.
On Tuesday 29th December 2015, We donated clothing, food and gift items to their Camden Shelter with support from Nina's Kitchen . We believe the christmas season is a time to share. Unfortunately not everyone is privileged.
For the most of us that can, we will appreciate your benevolence in cash by donating here (gofundme.com/atimetoshare) or in kind by sending us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or calling 07944082813 to discuss how you can reach the less fortunate. No amount is too small.

MY RUNWAY GROUP SUPPORTS KCA
We believe we have a social responsibility to make our world a better place. There is only so much we can do as a group, hence why we collaborate with other charitable organisation each year to support the good work they also do. We create awareness of their mission and give in kind as well as monetary support where necessary.
Previous beneficiaries have been Embrace, Universal Smiles and ACLT (African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust)
In September 2015 we extended our benevolence across the pond to partner with Alicia Keys' charity: K.C.A (Keep a Child Alive). Their mission is to realize the end of AIDS for children and families by combating the physical, social and economic impact of HIV. We believe our ethos are similar as we both thrive to provide hope and instil confidence no matter the circumstances one finds themselves in.
You can read more about Keep a Child Alive here. Contact KCA at: www.keepachildalive.org
Please donate if you can as your kindness will go a long way to help the less privileged.
MY RUNWAY + UNIVERSAL SMILES
We collaborated with Universal Smiles in November 2013 to create more awareness for the outstanding work our Charity Partner was doing. Universal Smiles was founded in honour of Godwin Lawson by Glen Owusu with support from Adidas to reduce knife crime by encouraging young adults to engage themselves in talent and skill driven activities during the summer holidays. The video above shows one of the sports day attended by grime artiste Wretch 32 and football icon Jermaine Deffoe
MY RUNWAY + ACLT
Our official charity partner for the year 2014 was the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust. A voluntary, independent charity whose main aim is to increase the number of ethnic minority people on the UK bone marrow register. Their activity helps to provide a life line for those suffering from blood related cancers such as leukaemia. MY RUNWAY collaborated with ACLT and encouraged people to register as donors. We provided ACLT with support for their campaign in 2014 to create more awareness about their action plan and need for minority donors. Visit aclt.orgfor more information.
